A guy going by the name of Winter says he has some mild obsessive-compulsive traits along with a mild coffee addiction to coffee. And, he has a goal to visit every single Starbucks around the world, although Starbucks is not his favorite coffee. Mild O-C traits? Really?
How does he do it? Here’s the criteria for having the freedom to visit every Starbucks in existence:
- unmarried
- no kids
- contract software work
- rents from mom and dad
- Scrabble tournament competitor
- owner of 10,000 super-hero comic books
Yeah, this would be a weird news item even Winter loved Starbucks coffee above all other coffee (even the extremely expensive Kopi Luwak coffee, which is harvested from civet poop). But, Winter made the front page of the Wall Street Journal today in an article about his dismay over Starbucks closing several stores.
I wonder if Starbucks would be wise to start informing Winter of what stores are closing when so he can work up some PR for them? Might keep some of those stores open…
