Jars of Clay - Contemporary Christian Music

Jars of Clay band member Charlie Lowell was recently interviewed by Jason Dominy at CoffeeGeek.com about the band’s coffee habits. It sounds like the Jars of Clay guys really enjoy their java and often brew their own coffee when on the road. Lowell says that the Starbucks Italian Roast gets brewed “pretty thick on bus mornings”.

I enjoy good coffee myself, so I read with interest about the coffee drinking habits of one of my favorite bands. But, I had a “think outside the box” moment when Charlie Lowell said, regarding Jars of Clay’s involvement with the Blood:Water mission in Africa:

“…it was crazy how things trickle down — little decisions we make day in and out do affect others around the globe. It is simply amazing to see how village/community life changes with the addition of a clean-water well. Kids are in school instead of fetching dirty water, women can work on micro-finance, and general health is improved greatly.”

Blessings do tend to multiply, don’t they?
